2. Campaign Overview

The online flag-selling fundraising campaign ("Campaign") available on this website forms part of the Helping Hand Flag Day Fundraising Campaign. The Campaign aims to encourage the public to support Helping Hand's services for older persons through an online fundraising platform.

The Campaign will run from 5 October 2026 to 31 December 2026 (both dates inclusive). Helping Hand reserves the right to amend the campaign period without prior notice where circumstances require.

3. Eligibility and Registration

3.1 Individuals, groups, schools, or corporations wishing to participate in the Campaign must complete the registration process through this website or via email.

3.2 Upon successful registration, online volunteer participants will receive a dedicated online fundraising link, which may be shared through email, WhatsApp, social media platforms, or other lawful channels for fundraising purposes.

3.3 Participants must ensure that all information submitted is true, accurate, and complete. Participants should notify Helping Hand promptly of any changes to their registration information.

3.4 Helping Hand reserves the right to reject, suspend, or cancel any participation eligibility without prior notice or explanation.

4. Donation Arrangements

4.1 Donations made through this website will be transferred directly to Helping Hand's designated bank account or approved payment channels.

4.2 All donations are voluntary and non-refundable, except where required by law or under exceptional circumstances.

4.3 Participants must not engage in any fundraising promotion that is false, misleading, unlawful, defamatory, or otherwise inappropriate.

4.4 Helping Hand reserves the right to verify donation records and fundraising results, and its system records shall be deemed final.

5. Collection and Use of Personal Data

5.1Personal data collected by Helping Hand will be used for campaign administration, participant communications, donation processing, administrative arrangements, statistical analysis, and other purposes directly related to the Campaign.

5.2 Helping Hand will handle all personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable personal data protection laws.

5.3 Participants agree that Helping Hand may use the contact information provided to send campaign updates, administrative notices, and information about other charitable activities. Participants may opt out of receiving promotional communications in accordance with the relevant procedures.

6. Online Fundraising Awards and Leaderboards

To recognize individuals and teams who actively participate in fundraising, the Campaign will feature online fundraising leaderboards and related awards.

6.1 Successfully registered individual volunteers will automatically be entered into the Caring Elderly Star Leaderboard (Individual)" competition.

6.2 Successfully registered team volunteers will automatically be entered into the "Caring Elderly Star Leaderboard (Group)" competition.

6.3 Leaderboard rankings will be calculated and updated automatically based on the amount of valid donations received and/or the number of participants recorded in the system. No separate notification will be provided.

6.4 All results will be calculated based on donations that have been successfully processed and confirmed by the system.

6.5 Helping Hand reserves the right to determine the eligibility criteria, calculation methods, and final results for all awards.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

7.1 All content on this website, including but not limited to text, photographs, images, trademarks, logos, audiovisual materials, designs, and other information, is protected by copyright and other applicable intellectual property laws.

7.2 Without the prior written consent of Helping Hand or the relevant rights holder, no person may copy, modify, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, or otherwise use any content from this website for commercial or other purposes.
