Volunteer Registration

Each registered volunteer may apply for one additional child flag bag for a child under the age of 14. The child must be accompanied and supervised by a registered adult volunteer at all times.
Flag bags will be distributed prior to the event. Detailed collection arrangements will be communicated via email at a later date.
Volunteer certificates and flag bags are non-transferable.
In the event of adverse weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances, Helping Hand reserves the right to revise the event arrangements. Updates will be announced via email and on the event website as soon as possible.
Upon completion of the service, volunteers may receive an e-Certificate of Appreciation (where applicable).
Souvenirs are available in limited quantities and will be distributed to eligible volunteers on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please ensure that all information provided is accurate and complete for event administration and communication purposes.
The participant's name must match the name shown on the identification document.

Each email address can only register once.
If you have already registered as a Street Flag Day Volunteer, you may simply click the button to join as an online volunteer.
Display name is unique. If it is taken, please use another name.
A personal flag bag link will be shown in your profile during the event period. Simply share it to your friends and families via Whatsapp, Facebook or other social media to help raise funds for the elderlies.
An e-Certificate of Appreciation will be issued for those who help raise more than HK$100 OR from 5 donors.

Cumulated amount for groups of the same group names will be shown on the Caring Elderly Star Leaderboard (Group).

To express our gratitude, all Flag Day Volunteers will receive an e-certificate. The e-certificates will be sent to the contact person before 31 December 2026.
Social Welfare Department has given approval to three organisations to sell flags in Hong Kong Island region, Kowloon region and New Territories region respectively on 5 December 2026. Helping Hand is authorised to conduct flag sale in Hong Kong Island region on that day. (SWD Public Subscription Permit No.: FD/R058/2026)
